Open Rice poke bowl

Atmosphere: 5 Came by as a pit stop on our road trip. The restaurant isn't big, but there's a few tables and bar seating available. I love that the food came out super fast. My husband and I built a poke bowl and there was a separate paper menu where you could circle your options which makes ordering so much easier. The order was processed quickly, and in less than 10 minutes, we got our food! Portions: 5 The portioning was just right. There was a ton of fish (I ordered tuna and salmon) and the portioning of the other ingredients was just right. I didn't feel like the dressing was too much. I felt like they were generous in allowing the number of choices within each category. So you can really create a poke bowl with a variety of different things in it. Flavors: 5 The fish was fresh and there were so many ways to customize the poke bowl, you really can't go wrong! With all the options, I felt like there were a ton of different textures in the poke bowl. Everything balances out and is super refreshing over a bed of mixed greens. Overall, I'd go there again for the poke bowl. Quick, easy, and refreshing!

Open rice is that rare little gem of a restaurant. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but their sushi and poke bowls are delicious. We’ve had sushi all over town, and despite little tiny shops appearance it has the best sushi around. Handsdown no questions asked.Don’t let their appearance fool you. You’ll be really happy with the food that you get there.

Open Rice in Stamford is an absolute gem! Their sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the rest of their dishes are equally outstanding. The quality and variety of the menu never disappoint. Hands down the best sushi and dishes in town. Highly recommend!

I kid you not, this is the best bento box I’ve had in years! Down to the small details like having teriyaki sauce at the bottom of the rice, to perfectly sauteed veggies and amazing shrimp shumai. Even the California rolls were good! Can’t ask for anything else for a lunch special. Have also had the poke bowls in the past. Best in the Stamford area!

The first time visit One rice poke bowl and take out. The food was amazing there, especially Sashimi. Poke bowl was my first time eating it. It was high quality and great amount. Highly recommended.

Nice servers, quality food, reasonable prices. The Poke Bowl was a good size and delish! If you had a problem consider that it’s probably you. Especially if it keeps happening.

I play lots of hockey and get home late at night, Open Rice is the perfect late night order in place. At the same time, when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to cook, that’s another perfect time to get Open Rice. The menu is healthy and delicious. Amazing food, I would recommend trying it.

I love the poke bowls here—they’re made with incredibly fresh fish and are generously portioned. If you’re in the mood for something different, there’s a fantastic variety of options; I tried the Mongolian beef today, and it was excellent. Don’t miss the homemade crackers—they’re absolutely delicious! Very traditional.
